- Joe Grusman is a student attorney at the Small Business & Nonprofit Legal Clinic at the William S. Boyd School of Law. Joe works at Zappos.com as the head of emerging platforms. After law school, Joe plans to pursue a career as a transactional attorney.
- Chris Macchi is a student attorney at the Small Business & Nonprofit Legal Clinic at the William S. Boyd School of Law. Chris works for Marquee Nightclub in The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas as an employee of TAO Group. Chris has worked for TAO Group for more than six years. After law school, Chris plans on owning and operating his own law firm, specializing in small business representation.
The Small Business & Nonprofit Legal Clinic provides representation to nonprofit organizations, small businesses, and entrepreneurs in transactional matters. Under the close supervision of licensed attorneys, law students assist clients in forming businesses or nonprofit organizations; reviewing and negotiating contracts; assisting nonprofit organizations with tax-exempt applications and maintenance of tax-exempt status; working with federal, state, and local government agencies; and providing advice concerning intellectual property issues.
